China Looks to Initiate AI Regulations Says Elon Musk after Officials Meet
China is planning to initiate curbing the freedom of Artificial Intelligence as it started its legal work to have full control of the reach of this secret technology. As per the statement given by the World’s Richest Person Elon Musk after attending a meeting in China on Monday.

On Monday, After meeting in China with their officials, Elon Musk said China will initiate the work on regulating artificial intelligence in its country. He did not further elaborate on the topics and later made remarks in a Twitter Space with Democratic Presidential Candidate Kennedy Jr.
“It’s worth noting that on my recent trip to China, I went to senior leadership there. I think we had some very productive discussions on artificial intelligence risks, and the need for some oversight and regulations,” said Tesla chief executive Elon Musk.
“And my understanding from those conversations is that China will be initiating AI regulations in China."
Musk reached China on Thursday, on a two-day trip in which he met with some of the biggest leaders of the Chinese government including the highest-ranking vice premier.
Several governments are trying to put their control on the increasing fear of the use of AI and mitigate the misuse of it. In recent months after the release of the new chatbot ChatGPT based on artificial intelligence, the cheque became necessary for this technology.
